Dell Support
Hey dudes!

Hope you will be doing well.

Being fade up with freezing issues with my Dell system, last Sunday I finally decided to format and reinstall Windows 7 operating system. But there was one thing I was afraid off, and that was data. To get a reliable solution I navigated on the Internet. Luckily, I saw a page of Dell Support.

I read the entire content and found it convincing somewhat. There were multiple steps starting from data back and transfer to Windows 7 installation. I took the challenge. First I started with restoring my data. It was quite easy with the built-in Windows tools.

You can do it easily as: Open “Backup and Restore” by clicking the “Start” button, clicking “Control Panel”, followed by “System and Maintenance”, and then finally clicking “Backup and Restore”.

The wizard is great, it worked well, and I was just following the prompts. When I got a full back up, I inserted the Windows Installation DVD. The setup was running well but I was getting some error. I could not get a breakthrough, and then I decided to take Dell Help.

Luckily, a number was flashing on the right side of the support portal. I dialed it; soon a technician picked up my call, and greeted me in a courteous manner. After taking some information regarding machine, he forwarded me an article to follow. Amazing, it worked as a tonic, and the error was resolved. I thanked the gentleman.

It was a true help; I have added the Dell number in my phone contact too.

Reinstall Compatible Audio Driver to Fix Sound Issues with Dell PC

Sound and graphics are integral components of any PC. Their absence makes the machine worth to dead. The same happened with my Dell computer yesterday; I noticed it while trying to play a blockbuster video on YouTube. In fact, graphic was there but there was audio playing issues with ‘no sound’ at all.

Like a normal user I checked the connectivity and the presence of volume icon on the taskbar. Everything was intact; being an avid computer user I also diagnosed the Device Manager under the Control Panel but couldn’t notice any fault and it was really disgusting. Being clueless I navigated through Google to find some relevant assistance. I searched with diverse range of phrases related to Dell Support and audio issues. Luckily on the very first page I got a link, where a toll-free number was also flashing.

I browsed through the link and landed on to the page. It was quite informative discussing various reasons behind Dell PC audio issues. Solutions were also present both for beginner and advance users. I went through the solution, the basics were the same as I had implemented while the latter was regarding uninstalling and reinstalling sound driver after diagnosing the driver compatibility. Had the Dell number not available I could have done it on my own. I called up that and got instantly connected with the Dell Help-desk. A technician hailed me with his sweet tone, collected some basic information and then asked for the remote access of my Dell system.

With no hesitation I went with the protocol and the technician reinstalled the driver for the sound card after diagnosing and matching the compatibility through the MSCONFIG section.
